Canadian soprano Orla Brundrett began her studies in Vancouver under the guidance of Dr Greg Caisely and tenor Clinton Stoffberg whilst singing at Dunbar Heights United Church. She was a member of Pneuma Voices for 4 years, and after completing high school, she moved to Europe to further her music studies, working with experienced singers such as soprano Evelyn Tubb and contralto Sara Mingardo. She presently studies with countertenor Roberto Balconi in Milan, Italy, and looks forward to attending the conservatorio there in 2017/18. Orla is so excited to be back home to share this performance of Purcell’s Dido and Aneas alongside such talented musicians.
