Mezzo-soprano Kim Steger is thrilled to be performing with The Postmodern Camerata for the first time in this rich and magnificent work.  She learned the art of choral singing while at the University of British Columbia earning her Bachelor of Music degree in Voice.  Following her low of the complementary arts of drama and dance, Kim ventured east to earn a Master of Music degree in Musical Theatre at The Boston Conservatory. After performing in Boston, New York, New Jersey and Toronto, Kim returned to Vancouver where she has enjoyed performing locally for companies such as the Playhouse Theatre Company, Royal City Musical Theatre and APPLAUSE! Musicals in Concert.

Kim is also an accomplished instructor of voice and musical theatre and has taught at the Gateway Theatre Academy and the Caulfield School of Dance in addition to her private studio.

Kim is currently a member of Canadian Actors’ Equity Association and sings with the intimate VGH Palliative Care Unit Memorial Choir.
