About Pandora’s Clock
Pandora’s Clock is Thomas’ first concert piece. As a play on the infamous Greek legend ‘Pandora’s Box,’ the piece serves as a musical interpretation of a mythological clock ticking down whether towards destruction or creation, the audience is left to decide. The piece is inspired by the global status quo. The accelerated growth of technology, the surge of an aggressive conservative movement and the issues of population growth, environmental crises and nuclear threat. Will the world blow itself up or will unforeseen forces move us to a new brink?
